Idhar Udhar (stylised इधर-ادھر) was a design project by Advita Singh that imagined India in a light where it was never colonoised. The initial idea was to create a magazine from the future-past, with a three-part shoot - ‘Sulatan ki Adah’, ‘Zulfein’, and ‘Zikr ke zikr’, but it eventually turned into a scroll that expanded on these photos and their context. I helped direct all three shoots and aided the director with the concept.
